406 Highway 100
Fish Camp Restaurant has been serving great food to customers in and around Hickman County for thirty five years. It is located between a high bluff as a beautiful background, and three stocked ponds in the front on Highway 100- just a short distance from the town square.
Owners, Troy and Kim Bates and their employees, are always happy to see you come in for some good food and friendly service. They specialize in catfish and BBQ. The fish is fresh and served whole, filleted or steak cut, available with all the sides in a half order, full order or all you can eat. The BBQ is prepared on location from an outside pit, and it is the best. Steaks and burgers are from fresh, not frozen, meat. Shrimp and chicken are other favorites along with various sandwiches and salads. A meat and three plate lunch is available on Sundays- all prepared the home-style way.
Fish Camp had its beginning in 1982 with owners J T and Linda Wright opening the establishment. Troy- nephew of J T- recalls he started working there when he was fourteen years old, washing dishes. Then in January of 1999 he and his wife Kim, purchased the restaurant from the Wrights.
The restaurant was filled with flood waters in May of 2010 and was completely demolished in July of that year. New construction began soon after and in a few months they were up and running in a new facility.
Give them a call if you need food for any special occasion as they offer catering service also. You can visit their Facebook page by clicking here.
